Native from Urabá, and moved to Medellín, the Calderon brothers and besides them some other friends that Alcídes, the elder brother brought to their house. That was when the curious children stopped playing the children games to fully dedicate to the music learning, on those guests they found the very best tutors; the children had a talented precocious development. So that, they started being admired by the audience that went to see them at the bars and clubs where they performed.

Los Gigantes del Vallenato have built a solid career along many years since their childhood, their discography are currently 6 albums the first one was made in 1996 (Pisando Fuerte). Today the are considered as one of the best ones, into this music genre, and they youth does not mean an inconvenient as they are a real musical institution.
